Where does the time go?
I am always amazed how fast time goes by, and then I realize it's been almost two months since my last post. Maybe because our Christmas tree is still up explains why it doesn't feel like the middle of February. With the help of my mom yesterday, all other decorations are now put away--despite a few screams and cries from the girls. We figured we could leave the tree a little longer to ease them out of it....even though we made Valentines and have started reading our books about St. Patricks Day and Easter. Because time flies, we have also been encouraging Kaila to stop growing. But she refuses...and then decides to eat an extra big dinner. During the storms last Monday morning, she crawled into bed with us-- after a trip to the bathroom and finally settling down, I told her to go to sleep...Her response "Mommy, I am sleeping. My vision is off" What barely 4 year old says vision? They both are growing so fast, and we have to make sure we stop for a few seconds just to watch them...because it happens right before our eyes.
Since my last post: Kaila had a birthday, we went to Florida, I cleaned Elise's bed twice last week since I forgot to tape her pjs (diaper and onsie were taped), we had Kaila tested for allergies and she started immunology treatment yesterday, and I went on a scrapbooking weekend retreat last month--which means my focus has been on pictures not blogging. I will attempt to get a few pics posted, but I am still trying to finish up our end of year statements--- and I haven't been too motivated to do either. I desperately need a full day at the house by myself:)

I know it feels good to have Christmas put away. It if my favorite time of year so why not leave it out a little longer. I know you are so busy and overwhelmed. We will pray for you to get it all done.
