What does your garden grow?

Two weekends ago, the weather was perfect! We spent most of our time together outside--playing, planting, eating....

• We had a picnic dinner at Fair Park where Kaila could ride her bike and Elise could run around like crazy.
• Grant and Kaila planted the garden..We already see signs of potatoes, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, onions...and have been enjoying asparagus for over a month now.
• Sorry to disappoint those of you who wanted to celebrate Christmas in July at our house...I finally had a few quite minutes and put the tree away---and there were no tears:)
• I also woke up one night with a phrase in my head, and now I have written a couple of children's stories...We'll see what I decide to do with them. I have had to put my notes away because I become obsessed with writing and get nothing else done. Why can't I do that with my Bible study or my taxes?

Since then, Kaila and I have planted flowers in the front beds. Spring is definitely my favorite season!
